The deadline for Christmas delivery of the Salisbury Gift Card is fast approaching.
Online orders must be placed before 4pm on Wednesday 19th December for guaranteed Christmas delivery.
Launched by Salisbury BID in June, the Salisbury Gift Card is designed to support the city’s businesses by keeping more consumer spend in the city.
£9,000 worth of Salisbury Gift Cards have already been bought this Christmas.
Since the scheme launched in June, a total of £18,000 worth of gift cards have been purchased.
With Christmas just around the corner, the BID is encouraging more people to give the Salisbury Gift Card this Christmas.
Robin McGowan, Salisbury BID Chief Executive, said:
“With so many different places to use it, and with the range of spending options, the Salisbury Gift Card really is the perfect Christmas present for everyone, plus it’s a great way to support Salisbury’s businesses.
“But we’re reminding people that online orders must be placed before 4pm this Wednesday (19th December) for guaranteed Christmas delivery.”
The BID is offering free postal delivery for all online orders.
The Salisbury Gift Card can also be purchased directly from the Information Centre, Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Museum right up until Christmas.
The Salisbury Gift Card can be spent in over 120 city-centre businesses including shops, restaurants, salons, entertainment venues and attractions.
Both national brands and independent businesses accept the Salisbury Gift Card, including Marks & Spencer, Subway, Topshop, McDonalds, Costa, JAS Hair Salon, Pritchetts Butchers, Fisherton Mill, Casa Fina, Shirley Snells and Allum & Sidaway.
Consumers can readily see if businesses are taking part as each has a branded window sticker on display.
The card operates in the same way as any other store gift card and is pre-loaded with spending options from £10 up to £500.
