FREE buses from Ladies’ Evening at Salisbury Racecourse

8th July 2019

One of the most popular races of the year, Ladies’ Evening, is back this Saturday and free buses into Salisbury will be available.

Salisbury BID and The Chapel Nightclub have funded two double decker buses which will provide free travel from Salisbury Racecourse into the city centre.

This will be the 17th Ladies’ Evening held at Salisbury Racecourse. “We Love Little Mix” will take to the stage over-looking the course immediately after the evening racing.

The free buses will leave the Racecourse after the music has finished at 10:30pm and will drop off at the bus stop on Milford Street.

The Chapel Nightclub is offering racegoers the chance to continue the party with FREE ENTRY before midnight to those with a Salisbury Racecourse badge.

Kara Rogers, Marketing & Communications Manager of Salisbury BID, said: “We’re always looking for new ways to support our business members, and this is a simple yet effective way to bring people into the city.

“We’re pleased to be promoting Salisbury’s night-time economy by helping people access the city more easily after the races.

"This initiative also helps support the city’s accreditation of Purple Flag, which recognises Salisbury as a vibrant and safe night out."

Amanda Newbery, Managing Director of The Chapel Nightclub, said: “Salisbury has a fantastic nightlife offer and we hope the free buses will encourage more people to come and enjoy the city’s unique bars and club.

“We’re delighted to be working with the BID and Racecourse on this initiative which we hope will support our fellow night-time economy businesses.”

Tickets for the Bibury Enclosure are still available and more information can be found here.
