Today Salisbury BID launches its summer social media competition aimed at bringing a new and fascinating aspect to Salisbury City Centre just in time for the school holidays, ‘The Bluestone Throne’ which is a giant piece of furniture and gives anyone in Salisbury whether a visitor or local to Salisbury the chance to win £150 shopping vouchers and to add some additional fun to their city or stories adventure.
A recent survey by Salisbury BID and Springboard has shown that shop vacancy rates in Salisbury have continued to be far below the UK national average. The quarter May – July 2017 has seen vacancy rates in Salisbury at just 6.67%, compared to a national average of 9.3%.
Salisbury Independents group have been working closely with Salisbury BID to prepare for the upcoming Independents month of July, which celebrates the thriving scene of independent businesses in our beautiful city. Independents are made up of different sectors of business and includes retailers, food & drink outlets and health and beauty.
