Christmas windows BID levy payers are being given the chance to have a festive window created by one of the designers seen in the last series of BBC’s Interior Design Masters. In March this year, one of the episodes of the popular TV programme featured city centre shops Casa Fina, Brides By Victoria and Just Jane’s. Now, Fran Lee, Amy Davies and Dean Powell, who were all designers within the Salisbury episode, will be back to give businesses another makeover, this time with a festive theme. The competition, run by Salisbury BID, was open to all businesses in the city centre. Fran, Amy and Dean will then pick the three winners, use the brief as a basis for their final designs and return to Salisbury on 17th and 18th November 2022 to build their surprise Christmas creations! Salisbury's Christmas trail Together with Salisbury City Council, Salisbury BID have put funding towards a Christmas Trail running throughout December. From 18th November until 2nd January the city’s medieval streets will be festooned with magical decorations and Christmas characters which you can explore on the Salisbury Christmas Trail. For more information click here. We are making it snow in Salisbury this Christmas! Salisbury BID are bringing the festive weather to the city centre. From Thursday 1st December you can join our portable snow machine in flurries of excitement throughout the city!
Business Events Funded with city partners, we have created a leaflet that will be delivered to over 96,000 homes about all the different events going on in Salisbury this Christmas. Many of our levy payers submitted events that will be promoted for free in this leaflet. Events will also be advertised on the Experience Salisbury website which will have its very own dedicated Christmas hub page. There is no cost involved with advertising your event on the Experience Salisbury Christmas hub page this is a completely free advertising opportunity for our levy payers.
Gift buying guide We are looking to put together a Christmas Gift Guide. We are reaching out to our businesses to find out what's on offer in Salisbury this Christmas. We would like to send out a guide to both the public and other BID levy-payers showing all venues you could buy your Christmas gifts from. This can be anything from the products you sell to services you provide and gift cards or vouchers. This is aimed at the public for all gifts and at other businesses for personal and staff gifts. Christmas party venues To help book Christmas parties and events this year. We are reaching out to our businesses to find out what's on offer in Salisbury this Christmas. We would like to collate all the information there is around booking Christmas parties, meals, or small gatherings at all venues across the city centre to then circulate and help book more local events this Christmas!
