Salisbury Business Improvement District

2 weeks to go until Armed Forces Day

14th June 2019

Road closures

Roads will be closed in the city centre on Saturday 29th June from 6am - 2pm for the military parade. There will be no access for deliveries to businesses in the city centre between these times. All buses and park & ride services will be dropping off at Milstream coach park between these times. There are also a number of other road closures for the 3 days, including the A345 from Beehive roundabout to Castle Street roundabout.

Waste Bins & A Boards

All waste bins and containers must be brought inside and off the streets from 5pm Friday 28th June. If not, they will be removed by the security team and not returned. Waste bins can be returned to their normal positions after the parade from 2pm Saturday 29th June. The last rubbish collection will be on Friday 28th June. Businesses are required to retain their waste in their premises from Friday onwards, until the evening before their next collection. All A boards in the city centre must be removed from the streets by Friday 5pm, as these are a trip hazard to the crowds.
