BBC South report weather from under Salisbury umbrellas

BBC South weather presenter, Alexis Green, visited Salisbury on 7th August 2018 and delivered the evening weather report from under the umbrella display on the High Street.

After the major incidents in the city this year, Salisbury BID arranged for Alexis to broadcast from Salisbury to help showcase Salisbury in a positive light.

Susi Mason of Casa Fina on the High Street was interviewed on air and helped promote our city to watchers.

The umbrella display was installed on 17th July by Salisbury BID along with partners Salisbury City Council, VisitWiltshire, Salisbury Cathedral and Swindon & Wiltshire LEP to bring positivity and visitors to the city.

Whilst Alexis was here, she took part in the Poppins social media challenge - #PoppinsChallenge.
