Business feedback – Armed Forces Day

4th July 2019

Please complete our economic impact survey following the National Armed Forces Day in Salisbury.

National Armed Forces Day was held in Salisbury this year. The majority of the three day celebrations were held at Hudson Field, but the military parade was held in the city centre.

In addition to celebrating our Armed Forces and Salisbury's connection, the aim of the event was to showcase Salisbury with good press coverage and to bring additional visitors into the city (who may come back to visit again).

This was a one off event which is unlikely be held in Salisbury again, however we want to provide evidence to Wiltshire Council how this type of event impacts business.

The BID understands some businesses have benefitted from the event and the additional visitors, however we’re also conscious this event caused a huge loss of trade for a number of businesses.

We understand this event was fantastic for residents and visitors, however how did it impact your business?

Please complete our economic impact survey and give as much information as possible. Your feedback will help us influence any future events in the city centre.
