FREE buses back into the city centre after Wham Night!

24th July 2019

Following the success of Ladies’ Evening, Salisbury BID and The Chapel Nightclub have teamed up again to fund two double decker buses to provide free travel from Salisbury Racecourse into the city centre.

This Saturday 27th July, it’s evening racing at Salisbury Racecourse, plus The Best of Wham! will take to the stage over-looking the course immediately after the evening racing.

The free buses will leave the Racecourse after the music has finished at 10:30pm and will drop off at the bus stop on Milford Street.

Once again, The Chapel Nightclub is offering racegoers free entry before midnight to those with a Salisbury Racecourse badge.

Kara Rogers, Marketing & Communications Manager of Salisbury BID, said: “This initiative was such a success when we ran it earlier this month, so we’re doing it again!

“Hundreds of people were brought back into the city centre after Ladies’ Evening, and we’re hoping even more people will come back into the city to enjoy our late-night venues this Saturday.”

Amanda Newbery, Managing Director of The Chapel Nightclub, said: “Not only do the buses provide free travel for people to be able to come into the city, but as the Chair of the Purple Flag steering group, it also helps support the city’s accreditation of Purple Flag which recognises Salisbury as a vibrant and safe night out."

Advance rate tickets for the Bibury Enclosure are available to purchase online until midnight on Thursday. Tickets can then be purchased on the day at the gate. Further information can be found here.
