From Monday 30th September, the five park & ride sites that serve Salisbury – Beehive, Britford, London Road, Petersfinger and Wilton – will no longer be free of charge.
For the month of October (from Monday 30th September until Saturday 2nd November), all park & ride services will be half price (£1.50 return per person).
From Monday 4th November, all park & ride services will revert to the usual price of £3 return per person.
Many park & ride services run from around 6am until after 11pm, Monday-Saturday, allowing passengers to easily work in the city or enjoy Salisbury’s night-time economy without driving into the city centre.
The last buses from the city centre to each park and ride are as follows (times may change on bank holidays)
• Beehive 11.25pm
• Britford 9.45pm
• London Road 11.30pm
• Petersfinger 6.40pm
• Wilton 11.10pm

Cllr Pauline Church, Cabinet Member for South Wiltshire Recovery, said: “The city’s five park and ride sites have been free to all users for 18 months now, thanks to significant investment by Wiltshire Council.
“We’re delighted to be able to offer the park and rides at half price during October; they will then revert to full price from 4 November.
“Although there is more work to do, Salisbury has taken positive steps forward in its recovery process.
“We are continuing to do all we can to support Salisbury, including submitting a strong bid to secure significant investment from the government’s Future High Streets Fund, and regenerating the Maltings to bring an enhanced retail, leisure and cultural offer for our residents, businesses and visitors.
“We hope that as many people as possible will continue to use Salisbury’s park and ride services and help make a positive contribution to minimising pollution and congestion in the city.”
