Managing Director for HJS Human Resources Dan Jenkins said: “I am extremely proud to have built our business in Salisbury – the city has been the home since day one. HJS Human Resources exists to offer growing SMEs access to affordable, qualified HR support and advice. The launch of our free monthly seminars is just another way to getting the advice out there, and helping our neighbours get ahead.
“When businesses are on a journey of growth, their responsibilities as an employer increase significantly, and often business owners aren’t prepared for this. We typically see employers recycling out of date employment contracts, struggling to develop the skills of the team, or trying to manage all the HR related admin by themselves – as well as running the rest of the business!
“We want to educate local businesses on how to be a great employer, and subsequently attract new talent to come work in Salisbury.”
Robin McGowan, Chief Executive of Salisbury BID said: “It’s great to see HJS supporting Salisbury’s business community by offering these free HR seminars. We encourage all businesses to get involved and attend these valuable talks.”
In partnership with VisitWiltshire, Salisbury BID co-fund the Visit Salisbury website to promote the city to visitors. The Visit Salisbury website has a full events calendar for Salisbury.
