The family jewellers have been trading in Salisbury since 1905, and is currently run by Rachel Tribbeck, great granddaughter of Herbert Tribbeck who established the business.
During the busy festive season, there's nothing more important than a beautifully decorated shop window to attract customers through the door; increasing footfall and encouraging spend. That’s why Salisbury BID ran a best dressed window competition.
The BID wanted to promote businesses and help make Salisbury look and feel extra magical this Christmas.
All businesses within the city centre were invited to dress their windows and take part in the competition.
Entries were uploaded to the BID’s Facebook page and the public were invited to vote for their favourite window. The competition reached over 11,000 people and 1,700 people voted.
Rachel Tribbeck, partner of H R Tribbeck, said: “We take huge pride in our shop window all year round and it’s an honour to have been named as Salisbury’s best dressed window this window.
“Thank you to the BID for running this competition. It given us exposure to potential new customers that we wouldn’t have been able to reach on our own.”
BID Marketing & Communications Manager, Kara Rogers, said: “It’s a challenging time for retailers, both nationally and in Salisbury, and it’s really important that businesses make the most of all opportunities given to them. So well done to all the businesses who took advantage of this free promotion and entered the competition - you’re all winners in our eyes!”
In partnership with VisitWiltshire, Salisbury BID co-fund the Visit Salisbury website to promote the city to visitors. The Visit Salisbury website has a full events calendar for Salisbury.
