The ‘Experience Salisbury’ website will showcase what the city has to offer from its rich history, spectacular architecture and historic attractions to delightful dineries, exciting independent shops and top-performing schools.
Salisbury BID is excited to be involved in the development of the project, which, due to the BID’s involvement, will offer levy payers enhanced promotion opportunities.
As well as highlighting the many reasons why Salisbury is an excellent location to visit, or move to, ‘Experience Salisbury’ will also keep residents informed of what’s on and stories from the local area. It will be the new home of Salisbury online.
The website is a jointly funded initiative from the Salisbury BID as well as Salisbury City Council, Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury Hospital and Wiltshire Creative. It is expected to launch in the spring at a time when promotion of the city and its businesses, after another tough lockdown, will be even more essential.
Along with the new website, a suite of social media channels have also been established to promote Salisbury’s stories to residents and visitors. Follow Experience Salisbury on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
As the new Marketing Manager of Experience Salisbury, the marketing and communications will be overseen by Kara Rogers. If you have newsworthy content you would like promoted, please email the details to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In partnership with VisitWiltshire, Salisbury BID co-fund the Visit Salisbury website to promote the city to visitors. The Visit Salisbury website has a full events calendar for Salisbury.
