New sales point for the Salisbury Gift Card

6th August 2018

The Salisbury Gift Card can now be purchased from Salisbury Museum. Salisbury Museum, in the Cathedral Close, is now the third sales point in the city to sell the Salisbury Gift Card, along with the Information Centre and Salisbury Playhouse.

The Salisbury Gift Card can also be purchased online at www.salisburygiftcard.co.uk and delivery is free.

Introduced just eight weeks ago, the Salisbury Gift Card has already helped lock thousands of pounds into Salisbury’s city-centre economy.

The Salisbury Gift Card encourages local spending and helps support Salisbury’s businesses. It takes the decision out of gifting and enables people to give family, friends and colleagues the gift of Salisbury.

Over 100 city-centre shops, restaurants, hotels, salons, entertainment venues and attractions accept the Salisbury Gift Card - both high street brands as well as independent businesses.

An initiative of Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID), the gift card operates in the same way as any store gift card and is pre-loaded with spending options from £10 up to £500.

Kara Rogers, Salisbury BID Marketing & Communications Manager, said “The desire to help support Salisbury’s businesses since the major incident in March is very apparent, and the Salisbury Gift Card gives people the opportunity to do exactly that.”

Look out for “accepted here” window stickers on display to see if a business is taking part or visit the Salisbury Gift Card website for a full list of participating businesses.

Businesses in the Salisbury area are being encouraged to help support the city and use the gift card within their own businesses. From customer loyalty and referral schemes to employee bonuses and birthdays, the Salisbury Gift Card is the ultimate gift for employees and customers.
