Positive Start For New Salisbury Business

17th February 2021

It has been a tough start to 2021 but there is cause for celebration as Salisbury BID welcomes Clearway Pets to Salisbury city centre.

Owners Mike and Emily Adamson run Clearway Kennels, and they decided opening a pet shop would be a great way to extend what they already offer.

The store can be found in the Cross Keys Shopping Centre, in the space where A-Plan Insurance used to be.

Mike told Salisbury BID that there has been a “real positive energy” from shoppers and that their first week trading has been a lot busier than expected.

For many the beginning of 2021 has felt bleak, but there is cause for optimism as Clearway Pets shows there is still a need and want for new business. Even Mike has found that many people are shocked to see a new shop open in the current climate, but the support they have had so far is “reassuring”.

Robin McGowan, Chief Executive at Salisbury BID, said: “It is such positive news as new business owners continue to choose our wonderful city as their base. We know there are still tough times ahead as the pandemic continues but we are optimistic about the future and look forward to the re-opening of all businesses and return of visitors.”

Clearway Pets can be found in the Cross Keys Shopping Centre and is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Head to their Facebook site or website for more details.

Salisbury BID would like to wish Emily and Mike luck and are sure the Salisbury business community as a whole will be getting behind them.
