Salisbury BID’s Spring Clean Begins

10th March 2021

As we move towards the end of lockdown and prepare to welcome visitors back to Salisbury, a Spring Clean has begun to brighten up the city.

Salisbury BID is working proactively to get the city ready for re-opening.

Following feedback from levy payers we identified areas that could be improved ahead of lockdown easing and now Salisbury BID City Ranger, Andy Milton, has started the Spring Clean work.

Andy has been cleaning signs, re-painting, and removing signposts from the central car park that are either old or redundant.

Salisbury BID Business Manager, Dan Collins, says: “Now that we have a roadmap out of lockdown we can work towards making our city look its best in time for welcoming visitors back. We know first impressions mean a lot so the work Salisbury BID and Salisbury City Council is undertaking will make sure visitors see our city in the best light. We want to encourage people back and this is just one of the ways we hope to do that.”

We know some city centre businesses have already started their own Spring Clean, with many cleaning and repainting the outside of premises ready for re-opening. If you are doing your own work let us know at info@salisburybid.co.uk and we can promote your hard work.
