Salisbury BID’s ‘Welcome Back Business Toolkit’

29th March 2021

'Welcome Back Business Toolkit' released by Salisbury BID as we get ready to #ExperienceSalisburyAgain

As England continues the countdown to the end of lockdown, Salisbury BID is preparing for the re-opening of non-essential businesses and the welcome return of visitors.

At the moment the government’s roadmap out of lockdown is on track. It means that from April 12th all non-essential retail and personal care premises such as hairdressers and nail salons will be allowed to open. Hospitality venues will also be allowed to serve customers outside.

Then, from May 17th most businesses in all but the highest risk sectors will be able to reopen, including indoor hospitality. At this step the rest of the accommodation sector, including hotels, hostels and B&Bs will also resume. All these dates are still subject to confirmation from the government.

To support Salisbury businesses in their preparations for reopening Salisbury BID has put together a Welcome Back Business Toolkit that offers a range of posters and social media assets to welcome customers back and remind everyone of Covid guidance – from wearing masks to using hand sanitiser. We also have messages specific to independent shops, hospitality and hairdressers.

We want to promote Salisbury is open for business and Covid secure and are using the hashtag #ExperienceSalisburyAgain across all assets so there is one clear cohesive message.

Dan Collins, Business Manager for Salisbury BID, says: “After another three months of lockdown non-essential businesses are itching to reopen and welcome customers back. We want to ensure businesses have the tools needed to promote themselves and remind everyone Salisbury is open and Covid secure – the posters and social media assets are just one of the ways we are doing this. With the Experience Salisbury brand launching soon we felt it was an ideal way to incorporate that into the welcome back message, because it really is nearly time to #ExperienceSalisburyAgain.”

You can find all the posters on the Salisbury BID Covid Hub. They can be downloaded from here or we will be handing them out soon too. If you would like a bigger poster, please let us know by emailing info@salisburybid.co.uk
