Salisbury BID levy payers are being given the chance to get involved in the celebrations, spreading vibrancy and fun across the city centre.
We are looking for businesses to take part in a ‘Flower Trail’ which would run alongside the popular Flower Festival (10th to 15th May). You can get involved by creating your own displays, with those taking time to put up designs showcased in the official and digital programmes. These will also be used to encourage visitors to explore the city as a whole during their visit to the festival.
Salisbury Cathedral’s Flower Festival is set to be a major event for the city this year, attracting a wide audience from the local region and beyond. Over 16,000 people attended the last one in 2015 which featured hundreds of traditional and modern arrangements.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Celebration’ and therefore the whole atmosphere is going to be uplifting and celebratory, with displays focusing on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. There is also a strong eco-friendly message throughout and with a community-focused display using little bees.
With this in mind, the cathedral is encouraging businesses who do want to get involved, to create displays carrying these messages through their designs, with lots of colour and natural/environmentally friendly components.
Anyone who wants to be included in the official printed programme needs to confirm their place on the Flower Trail by 15th April 2022. The deadline for the digital programme is 2nd May 2022. Please email Amy Sherburn at Salisbury Cathedral on a.sherburn@salcath.co.uk to express your interest.
If you would like to be even more involved in the Salisbury Cathedral Flower Festival you can become a sponsor. This will give you increased visibility and awareness raising through PR campaigns - including radio, print and social media – and affiliation with an iconic heritage site.
Deals include:
SPONSORSHIP of a specific display at £300
SPONSORSHIP AT £500
All the benefits listed above and in addition:
