Salisbury’s bid for the Future High Streets Fund

26th February 2019

We are working with Wiltshire Council to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to bid for investment from the government’s Future High Streets Fund.

Partners want to submit an exciting ambition for the future of Salisbury city centre and the money will be used to support the improvement of the city for businesses, residents and visitors.

Have your say!

You have an opportunity to help shape this vision.

Please complete the short questionnaire and provide your ideas here.

Please provide your details at the end of the survey to enable Wiltshire Council to keep you informed of our plans and to seek your formal support for the EOI.

The Future High Streets Fund

The Future High Streets Fund is a £675m central government fund that is open for applications from towns and cities throughout England.

The fund recognises the continuing importance of high streets as places where commerce and community meet, and aims to support high streets as they change to meet the needs and expectations of communities now and in the future.

Wiltshire Council will be submitting the bid, and they're working closely with Salisbury BID, Salisbury City Council and other city partners to help shape the proposal.

Although the bid will not include specific project proposals at this stage, the investment will be used to support the improvement of Salisbury’s city centre for businesses, residents and visitors.
