Santa and his reindeer visit The Maltings

A touch of festive magic came to Salisbury yesterday (Sunday 9th December 2018).

All the way from The North Pole, Santa and his reindeer visited The Maltings.

Hundreds gathered to meet Santa, have their photo taken and feed the real reindeer.

The event was provided for free, by Salisbury BID and The Maltings, to help drive footfall to the shopping centre and provide a family fun event for the Christmas season.

Marketing Manager of Salisbury BID, Kara Rogers, said: “Santa and his reindeer bring the magic of Christmas alive, and it was so lovely to see people’s faces light up when they saw them in The Maltings.

“We can’t believe the huge number of people who were drawn into the city by this event – it was such a success!”

Santa’s reindeer will be visiting The Maltings again on Thursday 13th December (5.30pm – 7.30pm).
