Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID) has provided additional funding to Salisbury City Council to enhance the floral displays in the city centre.
Salisbury BID’s business plan commits to “enhancing the general appearance of Salisbury” and “improving the welcoming in Salisbury” – and BID is doing exactly that.
Robin McGowan, CEO of Salisbury BID, said “It’s great to be able to work in partnership with the City Council to bring an enhanced floral display to our city.
“Salisbury always looks attractive in the summer months and we think the additional displays will make it even more attractive for residents and visitors.”
On top of the City Council’s floral display, BID have funded extra basket trees and hanging baskets, plus the installation and maintenance costs to ensure the plants are fed and watered and kept looking their best throughout the summer.
Bunting has also been strung up around Salisbury following the BID’s application for funding from the recovery group.
In partnership with VisitWiltshire, Salisbury BID co-fund the Visit Salisbury website to promote the city to visitors. The Visit Salisbury website has a full events calendar for Salisbury.
