Development of the new project is led by Salisbury BID, and jointly funded by the BID, Salisbury City Council, Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury Hospital and Wiltshire Creative.
'Experience Salisbury’, due to launch spring 2021, will inspire visitors and local residents through a new website and social media channels, promoting Salisbury as a city with lots to offer. New brand positioning will inject energy and imagination into the portrayal of the city.
As well as working to attract visitors to the city the website will create a community hub where local residents can find news, events, business listings and inspiration for things to do.
It will give an opportunity to tell the stories of Salisbury, its experiences and its people, stories which make the city the unique place it is.
Due to the involvement of Salisbury BID, all BID levy payers will receive free enhanced promotion through an enhanced business listing on the new ‘Experience Salisbury’ website. All other businesses can pay to upgrade their listing.
