The Salisbury Indies group relaunched at the beginning of the year to introduce a new direction with fresh promotional campaigns.
A committee is now in place to agree activities for the group.
As the city centre business improvement district, Salisbury BID has committed operational and financial support for the group.
Salisbury Indies Pocket Guide The Salisbury Indies committee have agreed their first major promotional project; the Salisbury Indies Pocket Guide.
The pocket guide will showcase Salisbury Indies members; allowing consumers to help support Salisbury's independent businesses more easily.
The businesses categories listed in the guide will include retailers, food & drink, health & beauty and entertainment & leisure.
50,000 copies will be printed and distributed.
The pocket guide will be available at the end of May.
How to get involved To encourage engagement from more businesses, Salisbury Indies is now a membership group.
It's free for Salisbury BID levy payers to join. Non-BID levy payers are welcome to join the group for £50 + VAT per year.
To be included in this guide, and other Salisbury Indies promotional activities, businesses must register here to become a member of Salisbury Indies.
In partnership with VisitWiltshire, Salisbury BID co-fund the Visit Salisbury website to promote the city to visitors. The Visit Salisbury website has a full events calendar for Salisbury.
