Salisbury Independents

Salisbury Indies

Cities up and down the country are flooded with high street chains, and as a result now have the same look and feel by offering the same products and services.

Salisbury is different – with over 200 independent businesses in the city centre, Salisbury has a truly unique offering.

As the city’s business improvement district, Salisbury BID provide operational and financial support to help promote members of the Salisbury Indies.

Group membership

Salisbury Indies is a group who work together and represent the interests of independent businesses in the city centre.

The committee meet monthly to agree promotional activities for the group.

The wider Indies group meet quarterly to be updated on the work of the group. This meeting includes a social aspect and guest speaker. Members of the Salisbury Indies group can feed into the committee at any time.

Membership to the Salisbury Indies group is free for BID members. Non-BID members who are within the BID area can become voluntary levy payers for £150 + VAT per year or can just join the Salisbury Indies group for £50 + VAT per year.
