Meet Andy, the BID's City Ranger. Andy's role is very varied, but his primary role is to support the BID’s levy payers with any environmental or crime issues they may have.
From any handyman type jobs to deterring shoplifting, Andy works to make businesses’ lives that little bit easier.
Andy is on the city’s radio link, so he’s in communication with the CCTV control room, Police, the city’s security guards, shops and venues to share intelligence and tackle business crime. He also provides businesses with training on how to effectively use their city radio.
Andy helps to enhance the appearance of Salisbury by providing businesses with a responsive cleaning service, reporting streetscene issues to the Councils, collecting abandoned trolleys, painting street furniture and removing graffiti.
And of course, Andy assists our visitors to the city with any help, guidance or direction they may require.
Get in touch if you require Andy's help.
In partnership with VisitWiltshire, Salisbury BID co-fund the Visit Salisbury website to promote the city to visitors. The Visit Salisbury website has a full events calendar for Salisbury.
