Monthly round up – December 2022

31st December 2022

Monthly round up of BID news.

The festive season is upon us and we have been making the dreams of a white Christmas a reality with our snow machine.

From Friday 2nd December, the snow machine has been popping up at various locations across the city including in The Maltings, The Old George Mall, Guildhall Square and Salisbury Cathedral.

It has been wonderful to see so many children and families enjoying the snow all over town. You can see more of what we did with the snow machine on the Experience Salisbury website.

Saturday 3rd December 2022 saw the UK’s tenth annual Small Business Saturday, when small business success is celebrated and consumers are encouraged to shop local to support independent traders in their community.

For us the message is an important one at any time, but even more so this Christmas after the impacts of the pandemic the cost-of-living crisis and the onset of a recession. You can read more about Small Business Saturday here.
