The Vanner Gallery have announced that they will be hosting The Graduate Art Show at the Gallery next month! They will be showing some of the most talented young artists in the country who have been invited by director David Christie to exhibit at his gallery. The show will run from 23 February until 11 March 2023.
The Vanner Gallery will be hosting a group show of the nation’s emerging artists. The art graduates from Goldsmiths, Central Saint Martins, Liverpool, Norwich and other universities were selected initially by the Graduate Art Show 2022, a new and exciting platform which supports young inspiring contemporary artists, to showcase in London during Frieze Week. Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub are holding a range of support workshops being held online and in person that you may be interested in joining.
The majority of these are free to access for SMEs based in the Swindon and Wiltshire area as part of our ERDF funded SME Competitiveness programme, with their premium content being open to businesses across the Southwest. To read more click here.

 

Arman’s Turkish Handcrafted Shop, Wine & Coffee House is set to expand! Formerly, the Real Eating Company café at 55 Silver Street is soon-to-be a second store for Arman’s.

Arman’s Turkish Handcrafted Shop, Wine & Coffee House in the Maltings have announced they are opening a second retail shop and small cafe on Tuesday 7th February 2023. This new shop will sell Turkish mosaic lights, ceramics, handmade cooper homeware, bluer beads and silver jewellery as well as Turkish delight, baklava and Turkish coffee. Salisbury Chamber of Commerce: 60 Minutes – A market update from the Bank of England.

There a lot of impacts to the world economy over the last few years with Britain seeing it's fair share of economic trauma. Salisbury Chamber of Commerce are pleased to have Andrew Holder, representative for The Bank of England joining them to provide an update on macro-economic factors impacting markets and the economy as a whole. Wiltshire Council would like to invite you to exhibit at the 19th May 2023 Youth Employment Event at Wiltshire College – Salisbury Campus (10am – 3pm). This event is being jointly facilitated by Wiltshire Council’s three Area Boards in the south of the county (Salisbury, Southern Wilts and South West Wilts). For those unfamiliar with Area Boards, they serve as decision making committees ensuring devolved funding and resources are targeted to tackle local priorities. Youth Employment is a key local priority in the south of the county, particularly since the pandemic.
